The DC Breeze announced this morning that two key players have signed new 3-year contracts. Ben Feng and Brad Scott simultaneously executed their agreements yesterday, ensuring that they will each wear the Breeze jersey through at least the 2018 season. Both players had been under contract for the Breeze with one-year deals since 2014.

“These signings represent a long term commitment among all parties to build on the success of the organization to date and take it to a whole new level,” noted Breeze co-owner Don Grage. “Aaron (Foreman, fellow co-owner) and I are extremely excited about Ben and Brad’s passion for the sport and their belief in the team’s long term vision. They will have a huge positive impact over the next three years, both on and off the field.”

Feng had 10 goals, 16 assists, and 15 Ds while playing 280 points in the 2015 season, which just concluded over the weekend. His Ds and points-played were both good for 2nd highest totals on the team. Scott accumulated 12 goals, 10 assists, and a team 3rd best 12 Ds while playing 234 points this season. Both Feng, 25, and Scott, 23, have become extremely productive and versatile contributors on both sides of the disc over the past two seasons, and the team is thrilled to have them on board for several years to come.
