Bio: Nate Castine has been playing high level ultimate since he joined Seattle Sockeye in 2007, when Sockeye won the USAU National Championship in his first season with the club. Nate also helped his club team to silver medals at the Club World Championships three times (2008, 2010, 2014), and a USUA runner up finish in 2013. After moving to the DC area, he joined Truck Stop for their run to the USAU Finals during the 2015 club season. In all, Nate’s teams have accomplished the following:

  • USAU Quarterfinalists: 2008, 2012, 2015
  • USAU Semifinalists: 2009, 2010
  • USAU Finalists: 2013
  • USAU Champions: 2007
  • Worlds Finalists: 2008, 2010, 2014

“I couldn’t be more excited to play for a team with such great leadership,” Castine announced after his signing. “I have played this game for a very long time and I’m excited to play for a coach that likely will be able to teach an old dog new tricks.”
