The American Ultimate Disc League has announced that ESPN will be our broadcast partner for the third year in a row with no fewer than 17 games to be aired on ESPN3 and WatchESPN during the 2016 season. There will be 12 games of the week during the regular season, one game aired during each of the two playoff weekends in late July, and then all three games (semifinals & final) of Championship Weekend August 6-7.
We are excited about this relationship and the exposure it brings us here in DC and across the country. Although none of our games were selected for the 2015 ESPN schedule, the Breeze featured in two different ESPN games during the 2014 season — one on the road in Montréal, and one at home against New York.
