Breeze Partner with Capital Ultimate Camp (CUC) for Pre-game Youth Clinics

The DC Breeze have partnered with Capital Ultimate Camp (CUC) to host and manage pre-game youth clinics before each Breeze home game during the 2016 season. The first clinic took place Opening Day April 10, and the 2nd clinic comes up this Saturday before the Breeze home game against Toronto (more info). CUC provides staffing, minidisc giveaways, and other support for the clinics, which will be free to all participants but limited to the first 30 kids who either sign up online or arrive in person 90 minutes before game time. A limited number of kids who register in advance via our Tickets Page will also receive a free ticket to the Breeze game that day. The clinics are open to all children aged 6-17 years old.

Managing partner Don Grage and CUC Owner/Director Will Smolinski both confirmed that this partnership is first and foremost for the kids. “There is no better way to ensure that our pregame clinics are fun, productive, and promote all the most important values of ultimate than to partner with CUC, the premier organization for youth Ultimate camps in our region,” said Grage. The agreement includes cross-promotion between the two organizations such as social media shoutouts, CUC presence at Breeze games and Breeze presence at CUC camps, and co-branded mini-discs supplied by CUC for all participants. A free pair of Breeze tickets was also sent to all early Summer Camp registrants this year.
