The Breeze beat New York Saturday in the first round of the playoffs, and the team will now head to Toronto for a Saturday afternoon matchup against 3-time defending Division champions Toronto Rush. Game time is set for 5pm at Toronto’s home field of Varsity Stadium, University of Toronto.
The Rush are 3-time defending East Division champions, and won the league title in 2013. Toronto beat the Breeze twice this year by one point (1 in double OT), and the Breeze beat The Rush 28-23 the last time they played, June 4 in DC.
