tyler_monroe_2016_statsChalk it up to his 2016 captain, Rowan McDonnell, to stoke the fire for Monroe’s 2017 return. “Rowan said we are going to be competing for the East this year, and that was enough to convince me. I feel like I have unfinished business from our game against Toronto last season, and can’t wait to get another chance to go for the conference title.”

Monroe also looks forward to seeing the impact that the rising young DC-based talent will have on the Breeze 2017 roster and in season to come. “With the number of great college guys we have in the area, I think the Breeze are going to be excellent this year and beyond.”

In 2016 Monroe amassed 16 goals, 14 assists, 3 blocks, 173 completions in 181 attempts, and a plus-minus of 25 during his 142 points played.
