Atlas Brew Works to Provide Beer on Tap at All Breeze Home GamesWashington, D.C. – The DC Breeze and Atlas Brew Works announced a partnership today to provide the brewery’s locally brewed craft beer exclusively on tap at all 2015 Breeze home games, including Opening Night April 11. The games will be played at their new venue, Gallaudet University, only a few blocks from the brewery in Near Northeast DC. Beers on tap at Breeze games will include gold medal winner District Common, and the also-popular Rowdy Rye.“We feel very fortunate to have an award-winning craft brewery right here in our new neighborhood,” says DC Breeze Co-Owner Don Grage. “Selling high quality craft beer on tap will certainly augment the game day experience for many of our fans.”
The two companies plan to use social media and game day promotions throughout the season to further enhance awareness for each other’s organizations. Of-age fans who attend Breeze games can enjoy pints of District Common, a Common-style Lager made with Czech Saaz hops and 2-time consecutive Gold Medal winner at the Best of Craft Beer Awards; and Rowdy, a Hop-Forward Rye Ale brewed with three varieties of hops and a generous amount of specialty malt — named one of DC’s Most Essential Dishes of 2015 by the Washington Post.
