The Breeze ran into a 2nd determined team in two days Sunday, falling to the Ottawa Outlaws by the same score as Saturday’s loss to Montréal, 27-22. The score was the same, but the game felt very different this time: the Breeze started strong and surged to leads of 5-2, 7-5 and 9-6 before giving up two breaks to tie the game at 9s.
The shorthanded Breeze ran into a focused and determined Montréal squad yesterday afternoon that looked nothing like the team they beat handily last Sunday, falling to the Royal 27-22 this time.
