When the International Olympic Committee (IOC) granted full recognition to the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) last month, they asked WFDF to develop Ultimate in Africa. WFDF had already delegated Michael Tignor to Rwanda as the coach and developer of the game, and he has been in the country since May of this year.

This is an event that gets bigger and better every year, with over 125,000 estimated to have attended in 2014. The festival takes place every September on H Street from 4th to 14th Sts.
