David did not begin his ultimate passion until college when he played with Lehigh University. His first season in club was with Philadelphia Citywide where he played under head coach Darryl Stanley. In 2016 both David and coach Stanley were apart of the MLU's Philadelphia Spinners that won the franchise's only MLU Championship. Last year, after playing with Philadelphia Patrol in the club scene, David moved down to D.C.

Prior to college, David was a baseball player on his high school team.

In 2017, David was the only player on the DC Breeze roster to play in all 14 regular season games, earning him the AUDL Steal Spirit Award. He would score 19 goals, 8 assists, and 15 blocks (3rd most on the team). He would suit up on the D-line as a starting handler.
