DC Breeze

After months of speculation and pontification, podcast host Greg Esser finally gets to discuss some results from the 2016 version of the Breeze! The team took care of business April 10 with a 28-17 win over Ottawa, and 2nd year Breeze player and 2015 offensive stats leader Matt Kerrigan discusses the preparations and game day activities from that game along with the prospects for our upcoming match up with Toronto.

Host Greg Esser launches the 2016 Breeze season with John Agan, Breeze rookie but veteran of DC’s Truck Stop club team since 2008. Greg and John discuss the tryout process, John’s preparations for the season, and some of the strategies the Breeze expect to deploy as they battle their AUDL East Division foes. 

Host Greg Esser continues the 2016 Breeze season preview with Peter Prial, a third year veteran of DC’s Truck Stop club team. Peter is also a Truck captain this year. Greg and Peter discuss the 2016 Breeze roster in detail, including the the value of various players’ on and off field intangibles.  

Host Greg Esser discusses the Breeze roster so far with DC area club player Kevin Chiang, who has played with several Breeze players over the past few years including a USAU Club Championships run with DC-based mixed team Ambiguous(ly) Grey. They also speculate on possible ways the Breeze may fill the final roster spots, and the prospects for the 2016 AUDL season.
