DC Breeze at Toronto Rush

Ever since the end of the 2016 season, there has been one goal on the mind of DC Breeze players: take the division from the Toronto Rush. The Breeze will get that chance Sunday at 1:00pm ET when they once again take on Toronto with the East Division title in the balance.
It all comes down to this (kind of, but not really). During the off-season there were countless expectations for the DC Breeze and the New York Empire to contend with the four-time defending Eastern Division Champions. Until this season, the Toronto Rush had looked nearly unbeatable in the division, and surely unbeatable by any team south of the Canadian border.
WASHINGTON D.C. – The weather could not have been more perfect and the play of the home team rivaled the perfection, as the DC Breeze throttled the Toronto Rush in their season opener 32-21 at Hotchkiss Field.
