Breeze Go Undefeated at Home in 2017 Regular Season

July 8, 2017

For the first time in franchise history, the DC Breeze have finished a regular season with a perfect home record. It is not unheard of for AUDL teams to go undefeated in front of their home crowd, a feat often reserved for those destined for top playoff seeds in the respective divisions.

Stats Analysis Game 13: DC Breeze 25 Philadelphia Phoenix 17

June 29, 2017

The 2017 season is almost over. There is only one game separating the DC Breeze from the end of the regular season. Fortunately for the Breeze, there will at least be two more games with a playoff berth clinched this past weekend. In that victory, DC maintained consistency that has led them to their 9-4 record at this point season: offensive dominance and constant defensive pressure.

AUDL Tuesday Toss Covers Weekend Loss, Win, Nate Prior

In this week’s Tuesday Toss, AUDL commentator Evan Lepler does a great job of covering the huge 15-game weekend across the league including the Breeze doubleheader.

“Stopped disc. Vert stack start. Alan is our distraction. The play was set up for Ty to score. New York came out with a bracket. Alan went left. Ty went right drawing two. I sat where I was, and game over.” — Max Cassell

Another Thrilling Double Overtime Win for the Breeze over New York

June 5, 2017

It was deja vu all over again for the DC Breeze on Sunday evening, in more ways than one. For the fifth time in the last seven head-to-head meetings, it came down to the wire against New York. And for the second night in a row, the Breeze led for the majority of the contest only to allow an opponent to come back and eventually take the lead. But compared…

Due to a tie in head-to-head record (1-1) and the Breeze’s point differential, the Breeze lead the division. In this win, the Breeze (4-2) had some old (and new) faces on track. Early…
