Comeback Falls Short for Breeze in Division Title Game

In Toronto, Canada everything was different for the DC Breeze compared to their match-up on Friday evening. No rain, only a slight breeze, near perfect conditions. The biggest difference was the result. Using an imposing defense, the Toronto Rush dismantled the offensive line for DC, winning 29-26 at Varsity Stadium.

Breeze Head North To Face Montréal, Ottawa In Crucial Two-Game Trip

This weekend the Breeze travel to the Montreal Royal (6-4) on Saturday and the Ottawa Outlaws (2-5) on Sunday. Heading north of the border for the final time in the regular season, the DC Breeze have a chance to sweep two teams and clinch a playoff berth. Breeze Beat Montréal 23-20, Move Into 1st Place

The Breeze beat the Montréal Royal last night, 23-20, in a hard fought match at Gallaudet University in DC under unseasonably cool conditions. The Breeze are now 4-2 and tied for 1st place with 4-time division champions Toronto Rush, with the Breeze getting the nod on both head-to-head and overall goal differential.  The Royal are now 2-4.

Castine, Cranston, Neeley Return to DC Breeze for 2017

Breeze veterans Nate Castine, David Cranston, and Jonathan Neeley will return to the DC Breeze for the upcoming season. 2017 marks Castine and Cranston’s second season with the Breeze. As Breeze rookies, they brought in a combined 16 blocks in the 16 games they played in throughout the season.
