Georgetown Finds Success with 2017 Angel Tree Book Dive Tournament

The Georgetown University Women’s Ultimate team enjoyed another successful ultimate tournament, charity event and fundraiser with their 2017 Angel Tree Book Dive Tournament November 19th on the National Mall polo fields. The event collected more than 150 books for the Georgetown Angel Tree Book Drive and DC Books to Prisons Project, and also raised >$2500 for the team’s upcoming season.

The DC Breeze pulled away in the final minutes to beat the New York Empire yesterday, 28-25. The Empire (2-4) went on a 5-1 run late in the 3rd quarter to overcome a 19-15 deficit and tie the game at 21, but the Breeze (5-2) found another level of effort from that point and would not give up another break in the game.

Breeze Finalize Roster with 14 New Signees
