District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser has made her plans to attend our 2017 Home Opener! Following up her DC Breeze Welcome Letter last season and appearance at our July 16, 2016 playoff game when the Mayor was given a #51 jersey, she has made plans to come to our Sunday, April 9 game to address the crowd and throw out the ceremonial first pull before the 2pm start.
The Breeze face the visiting Toronto Rush in a rematch of last year’s East Division title game, which the Rush won in overtime. We wholeheartedly welcome back Mayor Bowser. It is anticipated that the heads of the D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation and D.C. State Athletics Association (DCSAA) will also be in attendance. And we hope to see all of you at Historic Gallaudet University!
