Can’t wait for winter league to start? Looking to get your ultimate fix? Wanting to do something good for someone else? WAFC and SAVAGEUltimate have one easy solution for all of these problems! The UltiGift Hat Tournament will be held on the National Mall’s Polo Fields on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
USA Ultimate and AUDL leadership met in person for the first time last week and had a productive, 3-hour conversation.

The Georgetown University Women’s Ultimate team enjoyed another successful ultimate tournament, charity event and fundraiser with their 2017 Angel Tree Book Dive Tournament November 19th on the National Mall polo fields. The event collected more than 150 books for the Georgetown Angel Tree Book Drive and DC Books to Prisons Project, and also raised >$2500 for the team’s upcoming season.
The Georgetown University Magazine’s Fall 2017 edition features an article on the DC Breeze and its many connections with the university and alumni.

Vermont has become the first state in the USA to make Ultimate a varsity sport. This is big news for our sport, and hopefully only the beginning.

Vermont first state to recognize Ultimate Frisbee as varsity sport
WAFC‘s first program designed for developing adult players who aspire to become club-level ultimate players. The program is limited entry and will include focused instruction from experienced coaches/players and feature drills and fitness training in addition to structured game-play. The program includes 4 total sessions at Sidwell Friends School in northwest DC on Sunday afternoons, beginning on Oct 29. Additional league details – including volunteer instructor profiles – will be announced next…
