Yesterday’s Tryout Combine for the 2016 season was a huge success! Thanks to our volunteers, interns, and support staff who helped make it happen, but most importantly thanks to the almost 100 terrific athletes who left it all out on the field after more than three hours of drills and scrimmages! Even the weather cooperated beautifully for a November day in the DC area. Participants can expect to hear something from Head Coach Ghesquiere soon…
The Open Tryout Combine for the 2016 Season will take place Sunday, November 1, 2015, 2:30pm at Long Bridge Park in Arlington, VA. Join us for a great learning experience and chance to drill and scrimmage with many of our 2015 and likely 2016 players, and most importantly a chance for a spot on the team in ’16!
The DC Breeze announced today that Sarah Itoh will return for a 2nd season as Assistant Coach in 2016. Itoh rejoins the Breeze staff just in time to contribute at this weekend’s Tryouts. She arrives fresh off yet another terrific performance as a player at USAU Club Nationals where she led DC’s top women’s team Scandal with 21 goals to go along with 7 assists and 7 Ds.
This from AUDL’s The Dish: October 26th: The DC Breeze continue their offseason of big additions, announcing today that David Cranston, Jeff Wodatch, and Nicky Spiva have all signed contracts and will be a part of the 2016 DC roster. The newest signings follow up on the Breeze’s signing of star talents Alan Kolick and Markham Shofner in July and mark a decided increase in talent and expectations heading into…
The DC Breeze announced today that they have signed David Cranston, Nicky Spiva, and Jeff Wodatch for the 2016 season. All three players are key contributors to the DC area’s top men’s club team Truck Stop, a regular participant in the USA Ultimate club national championships.
