The Breeze won their final regular season game last night in a hard fought, storm delayed contest against the Philadelphia Phoenix, 23-20. The playoff picture is somewhat clearer as the Breeze have secured at least 2nd place, but not even the final standings will be determined until after today’s games in Canada.

The Breeze had not lost to Philadelphia since 2013. Sure, the Phoenix won all four contests in 2013, and there were a couple close games including an overtime since, but the Breeze had won 10 straight from 2014 to 2016. Then on June 3, Philadelphia upset the Breeze 22-21 in Philadelphia. It’s game on! AUDL Tuesday Toss Covers Weekend Loss, Win, Nate Prior
