Breeze and local women’s players got together to teach Ultimate 7-8 graders at Holy Trinity School in DC earlier this month. There were four terrific sessions over 2 days, and 80+ kids left with new skills, knowledge about E.R.I.C., and a ticket each to the Breeze vs Toronto game April 23rd so they can experience top level ultimate in action after their training.

Local elite players hosted a group of sports administrators from Israel this morning, including Breeze assistant coach Sarah Itoh and players Ben Feng and Alan Kolick. The event was organized by SportsUnited, the sports diplomacy division of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and coordinated by the DC Breeze. The Youth Ultimate League of Arlington (YULA) has announced a girls’ ultimate weekly program in coordination with WAFC that will take place Sunday evenings in Arlington. The first of its kind, the program is geared toward high school girl ultimate players of all skill levels, and is focused on player development.
