AUDL Championship Weekend is returning to Madison! After moving over the border to Montréal in 2017, the showcase final weekend of the AUDL season will return to Wisconsin and the site of a highly successful 2016 Championship.
AUDL Championship Weekend VI is all set for August 26-27 in Montréal, with semifinal match-ups #1 Madison facing #4 San Francisco and #2 Dallas facing #3 Toronto August 26 (4pm and 7pm ET), and then the winners meet in the AUDL Championship game August 27 at 1pm ET.
For the third time in four years the Breeze finished 10-4 and earned a spot in the AUDL Playoffs. And for the second straight year, that record is good enough to earn a #2 seed and 1st round home playoff game. #3 seed Montréal Royal (9-5) will come to town August 11 for a Friday evening battle starting at 7pm. The winner of that game will head north the next morning to face the #1 seed Toronto Rush (11-3) at 1pm on Sunday, August 13 for the right to represent the East Division at AUDL Championship VI August 26-27 in Montréal. Ultiworld has placed odds on every remaining AUDL team in the quest for the 2017 AUDL Championship. The Breeze come in at 12-1, 7th best odds among the 12 playoff teams. It’s no surprise that Raleigh Flyers and Dallas Roughnecks are tied for most likely to lift the trophy — both are 3-1 favorites despite the fact that only one of them will make it to the Final Four in Montréal August 26-27.
