Breeze Outlast New York, 28-25
The DC Breeze pulled away in the final minutes to beat the New York Empire yesterday, 28-25. The Empire (2-4) went on a 5-1 run late in the 3rd quarter to overcome a 19-15 deficit and tie the game at 21, but the Breeze (5-2) found another level of effort from that point and would not give up another break in the game.

Breeze Beat Montréal 23-20, Move Into 1st Place
The Breeze beat the Montréal Royal last night, 23-20, in a hard fought match at Gallaudet University in DC under unseasonably cool conditions. The Breeze are now 4-2 and tied for 1st place with 4-time division champions Toronto Rush, with the Breeze getting the nod on both head-to-head and overall goal differential. The Royal are now 2-4.

Game Preview: Key Home Match-up for Breeze Against Royal
The Breeze are now 3-2 after the loss to the Toronto Rush in Canada last weekend. Returning to Hotchkiss Field, the team will look to continue their impressive 3-0 start on their home turf Saturday. They face the Montréal Royal (2-3), a team only one game behind the Breeze in the standings but three full places back in a tight East Division race. Separating the two teams are New York and Ottawa, both 2-2.
