After an eventful week of signings, the DC Breeze 2017 roster is now at its February pre-tryout target. Over the last ten days, six players have joined this year’s squad. The team is excited to welcome back a handful of returning players and add some fresh faces. This wave of signings brings the team’s roster to 20. Open Tryouts for the remaining roster positions will take place Sunday, March 5.
On the last Friday of 2016, the DC area Ultimate community congregated in Chantilly, Virginia for the Northern VA Indoor Ultimate Championships. 14 teams attended, representing all ages and geographic areas: there were multiple teams of High School players from Arlington, a team from Fairfax, a team composed of many University of Maryland alums, and a team with many Baltimore club players.

This past Sunday, the Georgetown University Women’s Ultimate Team hosted their annual Book Dive Tournament. The Foyas’ (frisbee Hoyas) 14th annual charity book drive and fundraiser tournament benefits DC Metropolitan area charities.
