Student leaders at several Fairfax County high schools launched a petition this week in an effort to get Ultimate recognized as an official club sport in Fairfax County Public Schools. A similar initiative succeeded in Arlington County last year.

We, along with many others around the world, see the incredible value to youth of a highly aerobic, non-contact sport that emphasizes integrity and spirit as core principles. We hope Fairfax County Public Schools will see that value as well.
