Georgetown Runs Away With College Challenge

Georgetown has stormed into a commanding lead in the DC Breeze College Challenge — to see which college can get the most fans out to our game this weekend as we take on New York for free pizza at the game and other perks! Georgetown and UMBC have been neck and neck, but this morning’s ticket surge puts Georgetown a full 18 points ahead of the competition with 30 minutes left. AU has caught GWU for a 4th place tie, while Towson climbs out of the cellar replaced by a disapppointing Mason. All students get a big discount for college night, and the winning college gets free food and a lot more. TICKETS

Breeze Spoil Montréal’s Home Opener, 26-18

The DC Breeze beat the Montréal Royal yesterday, 26-18 in front of 2,127 fans who showed up at Percival-Molson Stadium for the Royal’s 2016 Home Opener. The cool, rainy conditions did nothing to diminish the festival nature of the game in a city that averages the largest crowds in the league. The fans did not disappoint, and neither did the visiting team.

Breeze Come Up Short In Another Toronto Thriller, 24-23
