The one significant change compared to 2016 is the fact that an offensive travel call no longer results in a turnover — it is now only a 10 yard penalty.
Student leaders at several Fairfax County high schools launched a petition this week in an effort to get Ultimate recognized as an official club sport in Fairfax County Public Schools. A similar initiative succeeded in Arlington County last year.

Women’s club Ultimate teams Grit and Backhanded have collaborated once again to host the annual 6 Months Till Wildwood tournament. The event takes place on Super Bowl Sunday at the Polo Fields on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. And once again the Breeze will provide free Breeze Opening Day passes to all players on the winning team.
