The DC Breeze beat the Montréal Royal yesterday, 26-18 in front of 2,127 fans who showed up at Percival-Molson Stadium for the Royal’s 2016 Home Opener. The cool, rainy conditions did nothing to diminish the festival nature of the game in a city that averages the largest crowds in the league. The fans did not disappoint, and neither did the visiting team.

Breeze Come Up Short In Another Toronto Thriller, 24-23
Despite chilly temperatures and a stiff southwesterly wind in Toronto, the DC Breeze put up a massive fight in their second game in a week vs the Toronto Rush yesterday, coming up one point short for the 2nd game in a row against the reigning division champions. First Road Trip of Season: Toronto + Montréal
The Breeze will embark on the first road trip of the season late tonight, first to Toronto for a 4pm rematch of last Saturday’s Thriller, and then to Montréal for a 1pm Sunday afternoon showdown against a team who beat us both times in 2015 after we had swept them in 2014. It’s our turn again!
