Breeze players Matt Kerrigan and Rowan McDonnell joined forces with elite women players from DC club teams Scandal and Grit Sunday night in Arlington, VA to launch the first session of the WAFC/Breeze Middle School Clinic Series. It was a tremendous start, as almost 40 kids aged 10-14 came out in perfect 80-degree weather to get instruction from some of the best ultimate talent the DC area has to offer.
The AUDL has announced the All-AUDL 2nd Team, 1st Team, and All-Defense Teams this week. As expected, the lists feature multiple members of Final Four teams. Champions Dallas Roughnecks lead the way with 4 entrants including 1st Team honoree Jimmy Mickle (pictured).
Breeze 2016 offensive leader Jeff Wodatch was named to the All-AUDL 2nd Team this week. Wodatch led the Breeze in goals and +/-, and was 2nd in assists and total points played while participating in all but one of the 16 games this season including both playoff games. He was a stalwart and top producer on an O-Line that scored 392 goals on the way to its best finish ever, with only an overtime road…

The DC Breeze and WAFC have partnered with YULA and elite players from the area’s best club teams to create a Middle School Clinic Series this Fall. Coaching instruction at the clinics will be performed by pros and other elite male and female players from around the region in the first series of its kind for the DC area.
Here are the Top 10 Breeze Players for Passing productivity during the 2016 season. To determine this list we considered several statistical categories along with the overall impact each player had on the game when the team had possession of the disc.

Airing during the 4pm newscast, the story featured several Breeze players and coaches with Summer camp kids at Fort Stanton Recreation Center in Southeast DC.
The 2016 AUDL Champion will be decided this weekend as the four division winners descend on Madison, Wisconsin! The Breeze were so close to being one of those teams, separated from the final four by an overtime loss to 4-time defending division champions Toronto Rush.
