The Breeze started off the 2017 season on a high-note, beating 4-time defending division champions Toronto Rush, 32-21. A few local photographers were on hand to document the game, capturing some incredible shots of the action. PAPA JOHN’S AND DC BREEZE ANNOUNCE CONTINUED PARTNERSHIP FOR 2017 SEASON
The DC Breeze Professional Ultimate Disc team and Papa John’s of the National Capital Region are please to announce a continued relationship for the 207 season. Papa John’s will again be the Breeze jersey sponsor and the Official Pizza of the DC Breeze for the 2017 season. The Breeze will serve Papa John’s pizza exclusively at home games and represent the brand at halftime contests and other activities. The partners will also promote each other through newsletters, web and social media.
Wind can be an ultimate players best friend or worst enemy. Both the Club Young Alums and College All-Stars found a way to work with the breezy weather and put on a great game for an engaged and energetic crowd at Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA. Although the final score of 15-5 may say otherwise, the Alums and the All-Stars battled back and forth all game.
The DC Club Young Alums prevailed yesterday over the College All-Stars in our Women’s Showcase game on a brisk, partly sunny afternoon in Arlington.
