To Georgians & Moldovans, Ultimate Is a Breeze

The DC Breeze hosted a clinic Saturday to teach ultimate to a group of young women visiting D.C. as part of a two-week trip to the U.S. through the State Department’s SportsUnited program, which brings groups of athletes and coaches to the U.S. to experience American society, culture, and values within the context of sports.

Ultimate Finds a New Home in Uzbekistan

A youth Karate team from Uzbekistan and their instructors were the most recent beneficiary of a DC Breeze Ultimate clinic through the U.S. Department of State’s SportsUnited program. Breeze players Brad Scott and Matt Kerrigan led the clinic for this group of talented young martial artists in this latest installment of our ongoing international clinic series.

Breeze, State Department Host Group from Tunisia

Local Players Host Sports Administrators from Israel

The event was organized by SportsUnited, the sports diplomacy division of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and coordinated by the DC Breeze. Molly Roy of Scandal led the clinic.

Belarusian Soccer Team Gets Ultimate Experience

Local women players from Scandal, Grit, and Swing Vote combined forces to teach Ultimate to a visiting Belarusian girls’ soccer team last Saturday in Arlington. The event was organized through SportsUnited, the sports diplomacy division of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and coordinated by the DC Breeze.
