DC Breeze players and staff, along with Kelly Ross of elite DC mixed team Ambiguous Grey, spent two days at Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA teaching Ultimate skills and techniques in clinics for each of the six 9th grade P.E. classes.
The 5th and final round of the Breeze/WAFC Middle School Clinic Series took place this past Sunday at Montgomery Hills in Silver Spring, MD. Overall it was fantastic series with a lot of passionate and talented kids, upwards of 150 in all.

He announced today that he will use his retirement to focus on youth, women’s and mixed development with an emphasis on gender equity, and has accepted a position with the team as its new Youth and Gender Equity Coordinator.
Matthew “Rowan” McDonnell took the team prize as Most Underrated Player for the Breeze in 2016, according to the AUDL. We don’t think he would come close to winning that prize if the vote took place in DC, given that he’s one of the team’s most recognized and acknowledged players throughout the DC Ultimate community.
